For Mia's birthday we took her to Disney on Ice Friday night. She had a ball! She clapped at all the right times - sometimes when it wasn't even time to clap!

A new year, a new blog...

My precious little girl turned 2 last Sunday! My how time flies! It seems like only yesterday she was still in my belly. This past year has been amazing - so many physical and developmental changes. Her vocabulary grows more and more everyday. I'm always in awe when I pick her up from daycare - she learns so many things everyday. I never know what's going to come out of her mouth! Here are a few 2 year old stats:

• Height - 37 3/4 inches (Yes, Dr. Farish says she is off the charts with her height)


• Weight - 33 pounds (tall and slender)


• Still has the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen


• Knows her animals, the sounds they make, her shapes, her colors, counts to 10


• Her favorite phrases are: "Hold you" (hold her), Oh gosh!, luv u, kisses!


• Her favorite shows: The Wiggles, Nemo, Barney, and Jojo's Circus


• Her favorite songs: Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Ring around the Roses, Mr. Sun, Old McDonald, Jesus Loves Me


• She has just taken a liking to baby dolls. She rocks her baby and sings her to sleep. It's so sweet!


• She still loves the outdoors. She loves watching planes, trains, and buses. She loves having a pen and paper to doodle with. Most of all she loves a "nack". (Snack)


• She is so independent. She loves playing with other kids and rarely meets a stranger. She is fiesty and stubborn, but loving and sweet all at the same time.


• Her friends are: Trey, TJ, Taylor, Kellen, Joshua, Ainsly, Laurel, and Daniel

I can't wait to see what year 3 has in store for us!
